I ordered this for a safety rope for my tree stand. I needed one not to climb the tree, but to ensure safety while I’m sitting in my stand. I found this to be a very heavy duty rope with a very heavy duty clip and have complete faith in it. I think it’s very well made and will not fail. It does come with a nice handy bag to store it in.
This tree climbing kit was obviously assembled by people who know about climbing safety. The instructions are clear, concise and accurate. They even describe retiring the line after 3 years which is good to see. The reflective striping on the rope makes it very easy to find in the woods at night with a flashlight.
